OXVA NeXLIM GO

The OXVA NeXLIM GO may be a stripped-down version of the NeXLIM, but it shouldn’t be underestimated. It features a 1800 mAh battery, regular and boost modes, 4 mL capacity, and adjustable airflow. It’s also surprisingly lightweight (58.7 grams), making it an excellent option for those who prioritize portability.

Product intro and specs

The original NeXLIM was one of the first products I reviewed in 2025. It was the total package: a slick device with fantastic flavor, battery life, and e-liquid capacity. Now here we are, eight months later, and it’s still my favorite pod vape. Although a V2 or DNA version has yet to be released, fans of the series (such as myself!) finally have something new to get excited about. Introducing the OXVA NeXLIM GO!

As the naming convention might indicate, the GO falls into the “light” and “mini” category of pod vapes. While remaining similar to its predecessor, it’s been stripped down for the sake of simplicity, portability, and affordability. However, that description might be misleading, as it’s one of the most feature-rich devices in its class. In fact, it’s actually superior to the original in several ways.

After spending three weeks with the NeXLIM GO, my initial excitement hasn’t waned. It’s surpassed almost all my expectations. But, despite being an impressive device, it’s going up against strong competition from UWELL and VAPORESSO.

Is this the new king of budget pods? Keep reading to find out.

Build quality and design

I was shocked when I first picked up the NeXLIM GO; compared to the original, it’s light (58.7 grams)! Not bad, considering it packs a 1800 mAh battery. The reduced weight is partially due to the chassis construction; although it may appear to be metal, it’s actually made of plastic. The accenting panels (also plastic) occupy most of the real estate, and they’re beautifully executed. Stylish, understated, and fingerprint-resistant; they suit my tastes perfectly.

One slight change to the design is that the GO features a rounded bottom, along with some rubber padding, allowing it to stand upright. Although I wouldn’t consider this a con, it seems like an unnecessary refinement, as it’s not nearly as stable as the NeXLIM.

The adjustment switches are located on the sides of the device. The airflow slider has excellent tension and seems unlikely to move by accident. OXVA also revamped the slider to include a small pinhole when it appears to be closed off. I’m a big fan of this concept, and I’m glad more manufacturers are implementing it. The mode switch (regular or boost) is located on the opposite side, above the USB-C port. It’s a brilliant addition that introduces a small level of customization to a beginner-style kit.

OXVA NeXLIM GO vs. NeXLIM

For those wondering, here’s a quick look at how the OXVA NeXLIM GO differentiates from the original NeXLIM:

  • Dimensions: 3 mm shorter, 0.5 mm thicker

  • Materials: plastic (NeXLIM: zinc alloy)

  • Weight: 28.8 grams lighter

  • Battery: 300 mAh increase

  • Functionality: no button, display, or advanced features

  • Included pods: single 0.8-ohm pod (NeXLIM: 0.8 and 0.6 ohm)

  • Power adjustability: regular or boost mode (NeXLIM: 5-40 watts)

  • Max power: same (40 watts)

  • E-liquid capacity: same (4 mL)

Getting started

Having recently tested devices like the REXA SMART and XLIM SQ Pro 2, the simplicity of the NeXLIM GO feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s even easier to use than most disposable vapes, making it an ideal entry-level option.

Let’s start with the basics. To fill the pod, pull the rubber tab on the side (no need to remove it from the device). It’s the same design as the XLIM pods, but the tab is much larger and easier to access. After filling, allow the coil to saturate for 5-10 minutes and then inhale to vape.

You can make further adjustments using the aforementioned airflow slider and mode switch on the sides. Note: When using a fresh pod, ensure the device is in normal mode (switch = down) for the first few minutes to allow the coil to break in slowly.

That’s it! No menus, buttons, or click sequences; it couldn’t be easier.

Performance

The OXVA NeXLIM GO comes with a single 0.8-ohm pod. My only experience with these pods was back in January, and it was incredible. Since then, I’ve considered them to be some of the best 0.8-ohm pods on the market, so I was excited to give them another spin.

After careful reevaluation, my opinion of these pods still stands. They are outstanding! I used both 50/50 freebase and nic salt e-liquids, and the flavor is exceptional. Even with the arrival of newer pod technology, such as UWELL PRO-FOCS 4.0 and VAPORESSO COREX 3.0, these are still some of the best.

But that’s only half of the story. NeXLIM pods may excel in flavor delivery, but the longevity is equally impressive. I’ve now put 45 mL through one of them, and it’s still performing like a champ. My gold standard for longevity is 30 mL or more, so these are on an entirely different level.

Regarding device performance, I do have one criticism, but it’s also a common one for this style of pod vape. The power drop-off is very noticeable when the battery reaches around 40% capacity. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to mitigate the issue. If predominantly using regular mode, switching to boost mode near the end of the battery cycle seems to balance everything out.

Battery life and charging

Although the NeXLIM GO is considered a stripped-down version of its predecessor, it received one notable upgrade. Its 1800 mAh battery is 30% larger than the NeXLIM’s (1500 mAh). However, don’t expect significantly more runtime. The GO provides about 8.2 mL per charge, compared to 7.5 mL from the same pod in the NeXLIM. It’s an improvement, just not a major one. Comparisons aside, 8.2 mL is phenomenal.

As with many inexpensive, entry-level devices, the charging capabilities of the NeXLIM GO aren’t especially noteworthy. My devices charged in about 60 minutes (average of 1.6 amps), which is decent considering the battery size. It seems like a fair trade-off for a device that will likely last most users through the day.

Verdict

The OXVA NeXLIM GO may not be bringing anything new to the table, but it’s still worth getting excited about. When it comes to simple, affordable, entry-level devices, this is about as good as it gets. With a 1800 mAh battery, 4 mL capacity, adjustable airflow, and boost mode, it almost seems fully loaded. But it is the superb flavor and long-lasting pods that really seal the deal for me.

My main con is that it only includes a single pod (which is the case with nearly all pod vapes of this style). On my second day of testing, I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally dry-burned one of the pods. Thankfully, I had a second device to work with, but most users won’t be so fortunate. Accidents happen, and defective pods are a possibility; therefore, manufacturers should always provide a backup.

Additionally, the power drop-off is noticeable as the battery level decreases. If, like me, you tend to use regular mode, switching to boost solves the problem. However, if you prefer boost, the vape may become noticeably cool when the battery drops below 40% (roughly).

Every other facet of the NeXLIM GO is a massive success, so I suspect most people will be willing to accept its minor shortcomings. It may be considered a “budget vape,” but it punches way above its weight. In my opinion, it’s the best device in this category (the XROS 5 Mini is a close second).

Highly recommended.
